Species: Demon (First Incubus)

Height: Around 6’5”
Basic looks: Deathly pale with nearly translucent skin that while it looks fragile when looking, is cold and as hard as stone to the touch, even with blood clearly flowing through his veins. Samus’ hair is as dark as his skin is pale, usually limp and nearly lifeless, there is still a shine to it that suggests that it is well cared for still despite it having very little volume. His eyes are a bright purple that seem to glow brighter the darker it gets or the more he uses his abilities. Another notable thing about the demon is the strong scent of cinnamon that is noticeable even from across the room, something of which he attributes to a binding curse put on him by his father.
Personality: Samus feels that he has been wronged many times so his ability to trust is almost non existent. Not that he would let anyone know that, if he feels that he could use someone his first tactic will always be to convince him he is on their side, his second tactic is simple Violence and torture. He comes off as cold to anyone that first meets him until he feels that he has found a use for them. If there is no reason for him to be around someone he will cut them off and only return if he has changed his mind on their worth.
Samus is not kind and fluffy for pretty much anyone There have been a few in the past that have softened him down a bit but it was no easy feat and at least one of them ended up dead by the end of it.

Abilities
Samus is the first incubus and Killian's first child he created using a soul seed and his Incarnation creation ritual. When interacting with him your characters sensitivity to his powers highly depends on their own willpower and desire to resist. Samus can enter the sunlight but his powers are greatly diminished.

Pheromonal manipulation
As an Incubus Samus has naturally occurring pheromones that often inhibit logical thinking and make people more agreeable. If he so desires it can take a sexual turn but he had learned to control it well enough that, that doesn't always have to be the case. Normally for incubus they have a very sweet scent that only gets stronger the more they are in use but in Samus's case his father (Killian) put a curse on him making it so that a nearly constant scent of cinnamon comes with his pheromones rather than the sweet one as a sort of warning to those that may be smart enough to pick up on the fact that he is not human.

Shadow incarnation
As the first born child Samus was created to embody all that Life (Jehovah) did not. To embrace and be one with the shadows her light casts. This has resulted in his ability to not only manipulate shadows but use them as ways to travel to any place that he has enough influence. when manipulating shadows to use in combat or to grab anyone there has to be shadow in the room in the first place and it can not move rapidly but rather work its way along other surfaces slowly until it can capture the target. That is why Samus will not use them on someone normally until they are under the influence of his pheromones so that they have to time to sneak up on the victim. As for using them to travel, it is easy enough to do if it is just him but if he is trying to drag someone unwilling along with him it will take much longer and require him to use up more energy.

Familiar
This is an ability to create small creatures that do his bidding from the shadows he controls, normally taking the form of black snakes. Unless they are placed into another living host, they dissipate in about twenty-four hours. If placed in a living host it allows Samus to grant them some of his powers, such as light shadow manipulation and pheromonal manipulation without having to fully turn them into a shade (see Shade creation). While not as powerful as a Shade Samus does have a great deal more control over them and it will cause them pain to disobey his will. The main catch to the process is that the person would have to willingly enter a contract with Samus for it to work properly, otherwise they will simply vomit the snake back up.

Shade creation
A rare ability for Samus to use this involves actually sharing his blood with a human or other mortal creature to turn them into a weaker form of demon. Most similar to a vampire due to their need to consume human blood to keep functioning and not be overwhelmed by the power given to them that is much too strong for any mortal to normally handle. Many humans can not take the change at all, losing their sanity and becoming pure monsters that can not live without causing massive bloodshed. When they are able to handle it and keep their sanity they must feed on human blood at least once a week and can not go out in the sun or their body would start to burn and eventually burst into flame. A freshly fed Shade will be about as powerful as Samus but will run out of energy much faster and have less control of their pheromones, so there may be times they turn someone or themselves on with them unintentionally. Shades can not directly attack Samus but they also do not have to follow his commands, despite having a strong desire to do so due to the bond between them from sharing his blood.

Enhanced strength
Like many in his family Samus has enhanced strength, much stronger than a humans and about as strong as a pretty powerful demon. When he is in direct sunlight though it is greatly diminished to that of a very strong human.

Gifted weapon
Upon coming of age Samus was gifted a weapon made from a feather stolen from Life's (Jehovah) wings of creation, a large extremely long sword in the style of a claymore. Because of his inability to touch Jehovah's light it was corrupted in the shadows for around a century, coating it it a shifting black substance that drips from the blade when withdrawn from the shadows Samus keeps it. It must be kept in the shadows when not in use or the light it was originally made with will start to take back over.
Though seldom used when used on something each cut will infect the target with that dark liquid, slowly poisoning them until they are taken over with it and unable to move.
